The traffic sent through your device might fluctuate due to multiple reasons. One of which is the simple laws of demand and supply, which are affected by the rapid inflow of new users (more supply) or less demand from our customers.
We are constantly balancing this effect on our end, but it depends on the magnitude of the supply/demand change.
For example, just before Christmas, users might be looking for the cheapest prices from e-commerce sites, and - users will see higher traffic usage. After the new year - present have already been given, and demand fades out - traffic decreases.
It is worth noting that it is completely normal to get more traffic during your first few weeks of usage (1-2 weeks), as when you start using Honeygain, a variety of benchmarking tests are done on your account, such as checking your IP address compatibility with the Honeygain network, fraud checks, and speed tests, thus more traffic is being sent through your IP address.
