Most Windows installation problems are fixed with a clean reinstall.
Start with the quick fixes. If the installer still stops early, or you see "Terms of Use have failed to load", remove every trace of the old app and install it again.
⬢ Quick fixes
Try these first, then run the installer again after each one:
1
Run the installer as administrator
Right-click the installer file and select Run as administrator.
2
Sign in with your password, not a PIN
If you sign in to Windows with a PIN, restart your computer, sign in with your password and install again.
3
Pause your antivirus
Turn off your antivirus for the time of the installation, then turn it back on.
4
Install Windows updates
Go to Settings > Windows Update, install all pending updates and restart.
⬢ Clean reinstall
Use this if the quick fixes didn't help, or if the app shows Terms of Use have failed to load.
