🐳
Run Honeygain on Linux with one Docker command.
Install Docker, pull the Honeygain image and start a container with your account email, password and a device name.
|
⬢ Before you start
You log in on Docker with your email and password. If you signed up with a social account, set a password first.
Only one device per network can earn. A second container on the same internet connection won't add earnings.
⬢ Set up Honeygain
Run these steps in your terminal.
2 |
Download the Honeygain image
| docker pull honeygain/honeygain |
|
3 |
Read the Terms of Use
This prints the Terms of Use you accept in the next step.
| docker run honeygain/honeygain -tou-get |
|
4 |
Start Honeygain
Replace ACCOUNT_EMAIL, ACCOUNT_PASSWORD and DEVICE_NAME with your own details. The container runs in the background and starts again after a reboot.
| docker run -d --restart unless-stopped honeygain/honeygain -tou-accept -email ACCOUNT_EMAIL -pass ACCOUNT_PASSWORD -device DEVICE_NAME |
|
5 |
Check your Dashboard
The new device shows up on your Dashboard. Use a unique name for every device, so you can tell them apart.
|
⬢ Manage your container
Use these commands to check on Honeygain or restart it:
| Command |
What it does |
| docker ps |
Lists running containers. |
| docker ps -a |
Lists all containers, with their CONTAINER_ID. |
| docker start CONTAINER_ID |
Starts a stopped container again. |
| docker stop CONTAINER_ID |
Stops a container. |
| docker update --restart unless-stopped CONTAINER_ID |
Makes an existing container start again after a reboot. |
