If you receive the following error message during the Tipalti registration process, your PayPal account name and the name you entered on Tipalti do not match. This error mainly occurs if you have a middle name, and as Tipalti only asks you to enter your first and last names, you need to enter your middle name either after your first name or last name.
However, another way to check how you should enter your first and last names is by following the steps below. Please note that instructions are for desktop devices only. If you are on a mobile device, please use a browser and make sure to enable Desktop mode.
- Log in to PayPal using this link here.
- On the right pane, where you see your name, email and address, click on the down arrow.
- Click on the "Edit business info" link.
After doing all the previously mentioned steps, you should see the first and last names that you should enter on the Tipalti registration page.
