If you receive the following error message during the Tipalti registration process, your PayPal account name and the name you entered on Tipalti do not match. This error mainly occurs if you have a middle name, and as Tipalti only asks you to enter your first and last names, you need to enter your middle name either after your first name or last name.
However, another way to check how you should enter your first and last names is by following the steps below. Please note that instructions are for desktop devices only. If you are on a mobile device, please use a browser and make sure to enable Desktop mode.
- Log in to PayPal using this link here.
- Locate the gear icon on your PayPal dashboard.
- Click on the "Seller Tools" option.
4. Scroll down to the "Getting Paid" section, and under the Invoices line, hit "Invoices"
5. Click on the blue "Create a Template" button
6. On the right pane, where you see your name, email, and address, click on the down arrow and click on the "Edit business details" link.
